Quality Policy is established, communicated and maintained by Management that assures overall effectiveness of QMS to ensure continuous improvements and compliance with Clients requirements.
Management establishes, implements, maintains Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and supports continually improving its effectiveness that (1) is appropriate for the purpose, context and supports the strategic direction of the organization, (2) provides a framework for setting quality objectives, (3) includes commitment for customer satisfaction and (4) continuous improvement. Management is committed to promoting the use of the Process Approach and Risk-Based Thinking.
AMI has demonstrated and consistently maintains the principles of QMS through consistent delivery of quality products and services with Client focus, leadership, people involvement, process, system and factual approach, continuous improvements and supplier relationship.
Quality Includes Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), led by degreed Quality Manager, Deputy Manager and Quality Engineers with demonstrated passion for EXCELLENCE through INNOVATIONS and staffed with loyal and skilled personnel in an environment that fosters continuous improvements to sustain consistent delivery of distinctive quality products and services.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, imposed Acceptance Sampling Plan is Zero Acceptance Number Sampling Plan.
Unless otherwise advised in writing, Drawings and Prints are interpreted in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and/or ISO.
All measuring instruments and capital equipment are maintained under calibration and traceable to NIST standard.
Zero defect products consistently through continuous improvement and innovations in inspection procedures, methods and metrology and continually improve AMI certified QMS as individual management processes or functions. Measure, monitor, review, update against performance goals and report during management review.
Quality records are recorded and maintained in accordance with Clients requirements including: Calibration of measuring instruments and equipment. Personnel training, including
Quality MO is PROACTIVE with PREVENTION for QA and SIMPLIFICATION for QC.
For selective part numbers, AMI issues a completed Master Inspection Instructions (MII) form which classifies each characteristic, specifies dimension or feature to be inspected, establish acceptance sampling criteria, defines measuring instruments to be used, including applicable gage number, for each type of inspection required. The MII also serves as a reference for reduction of inspections and cost reduction.
