OUR FOUNDER
AMI Industries Inc. (AMI), is a subsidiary of and growth of Precision Engineered Products (PEP), a leading supplier of precision machined complex shaped components in Taiwan, founded in 1980 by our founder and President Mr. Sam Huang. Mr. Huang’s core values of ITEGRITY, QUALITY, FLEXIBILITY and SERVICE, coupled with his strategies for solutions, qualified PEP as the sole Taiwan supplier for machined and tested investment castings used in the fuel systems for Airbus and Boeing programs. In 1997, PEP received Outstanding Supplier Award from GEC-Marconi for machined and tested investment castings used in fuel systems for Airbus 320, 330, 340 and Boeing 777 programs.

CNC TOOLING PRE-SETTER AND PALLET LOADING CAPABILITY
Airbus 380 and Boeing 787 programs were added in later years. With construction of fully air conditioned plant, including climate controlled QA lab and employee dormitory, investments in state-of-art CNC Turning Machines, 4 & 5 axis horizontal and vertical Multi-Tasking Machine Centers with table load up to 3,000 Kg., CNC tooling pre-setter and pallet loading capability and investments in coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with 0.0001mm resolution and latest software, AMI has evolved from “Manufacturing Efficiency” to INNOVATION driven manufacturing with methodical approach in hiring motivated personnel with technical skill set to INNOVATE and EXECUTE.
BEST SUPPLIER AWARD FOR MACHINED AEROSPACE COMPONENTS
In 2013, AMI received Eaton APAC Best Supplier Award for machined aerospace components. Under 3i, (INNOVATE, INNOVATE, INNOVATE) Program, AMI is currently in final qualification phase for machining Inconel 718 turbo fan jet engine combustion chamber casings. AMI Quality Management System is certified under AS9100D, ISO9001:2015, and TS16949:2009.

Moved Corporate Office to present location.

2006
Invested 20% of stock share with Uber Precision Parts.
2007
Invested 20% of stock share with Magnesium Die Casting Foundry #1.
2008
President Mr. Sam Huang established AMI Industries, Inc.
2009
Invested 20% of stock share with “Apexworks Precision” (TS16949 certified).
2010
AMI INDUSTRIES INC. started opertion in Tainan
Founded and established machined factory in Tainan “AMI Industries Inc.” (ISO9001/AS9100 Certified)
2011
Operations began & commenced volume production in Tainan factory.
2013
Certified by AS9100 Quality System
AMI Certified with AS9100 along with ISO 9001 Quality System
Awarded both ISO9001:2008 EN9100:2009 AS9100 REV.C for quality management.
2014
AMI Certified with TS16949 Quality System ( 2018 Terminated )
FEB. ERP implementation.
SEP. Production Line Expansion: Phase 2 with extra 5070m2 floor space.
DEC. Awarded ISO/TS16949:2009 certification for quality management.
2015
New facillity building ( first expansion ) bejind AMI started operation.
